Here are a few animation tests that I did for Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, a GameCube title produced by Pipeworks Software. The tail is procedurally animated in-engine based on the rotation data on the first few tail segments. So, in the test movies, the tail looks like a club – you can ignore that for now. Also, the mesh in the following movies is just a test version. The spines are a bit out of whack, and there are no textures.
